Geoff usually gets these leagues set up immediately, so plan on the league starting just a few hours after my KDS deadline. We're damn quick with these!! :D

Sam Botnick Yeah, these aren't on the signup page. I'll do that on Monday. I'll put you on the $325 list for now and worry about the official signup. Thanks.

Sam, are you joining us in Las Vegas for the main event too? We'd love to have you in the draft league if it works for you.

Greg-thank you for the invite but I am teaching that morning-will be driving through the night there and back just to make the auctions. Hopefully, next year will not be so hectic-looks like fun.

FWIW, i'll move up to the 325 league to help fill it up if the 250 league doesn't get more action soon.

would be nice to get a draft started this week...

Danimal,

Maybe some of the new $125 wannabes will make the jump to $250. To put all that effort into a 45-round draft, it's nice to have a couple K carrot at the end of the stick, no?

i agree, which is why i would prefer the 250, but since it doesn't seem to be getting much action or signups, even fewer than the 325 league, if it looks like the 325 is going to fill up first I will probably make the jump. you might wanna do the same? either way would be nice to get a draft going this week....especially now that super bowl is over, college basketball is in the slow conference season before tournaments, would be great to get have a draft to focus on...

Nah, The $250 will pick up steam, now that football is over. "If you build it, they will come!"

Greg,

A couple guys in my slow-draft league were chatting with me about they wished the time to make a pick was cut in half, or thirds. The sleeping hours are always an issue, but having to auto-draft once in a while is not the end of the world.

I think more would join the open leagues if this were the case.

Just an idea.

I'm in the same league with Craig. It seems we have most of the guys who want to complete the draft in about a week and then the rest who don't care as much about how long it takes to complete.

With different clock times, you'll give players a choice - slow or really slow.

Someone who knows they won't be able to be on their computer for hours at a time can choose a 12 hour clock time.

Those who crave a faster pace will chose the 2 hour clock time.

If you are playing with other players who have the same expectations, I think it would improve on a great idea.

Greg:

Please add me to the new slow draft $125 league. Also, could you please remove me from the March 5th satellite league. I am still planning on the others; but, this format is much more conducive to my schedule and family needs.

Thanks,

Don

Greg--

In the interest of trying to get a league going--what about a $200 slow draft with 2 free entries as the prizes? Seems to be about the same profit % and would probably attract from the $125 and $250.

Hey Greg, can you just count me in which ever league fills up next, be it the 125, 250 or 325...would like to get some action going, whatever the stakes!

Thanks,
