NFBC Online Championship Mag Draft

I think it would be good to have our 12-team NFBC Online Championship format featured in the next issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine. I don't know if we'll have enough space for another draft, but what the heck, I'll do my best to make it happen. I'm looking for 12 NFBC owners who are either signed up for the Online Championship or who will be signing up for one of the drafts to compete in our magazine draft with the first 23 rounds of results published for all to see.

If you've been in either of our first two magazine NFBC drafts, let someone else get in first. We can do it next Monday, Feb. 2nd at 7 pm EST on MockDraftCentral.com. We'll draft 30 rounds and play it out with the first place finisher receiving a free NFBC Online Championship entry in 2010. Sound good?

Okay, volunteers are welcome here and if we somehow can't pull this off in the magazine I'll let everyone know by Monday. But let's get the Online Championship buzz rolling and have some fun with this 12-team format as well. Thanks all.

Okay, we have five owners for this one. This 12-teamer will feel like a walk in the park to anyone who has done a 45-round, NFBC Draft Champions Slow Draft!!

How does this work? Same 350 sign up fee as the online championship? Or just a draft to promote the format? If it's a promotional draft I'd love to get involved...don't know if I can swing another 350 as I'm already signed up for two online championship leagues as it is!

Mike If you want to pay 350, Mike, Greg will take it, but it's a free league.

I figured it was, but better to ask before signing up for another league...after deciding I couldn't afford to do the main event this year I then signed up for 4 other leagues...go figure.

Okay, I just got back from dinner and will enter all of the names as they came onto the boards. I don't think I missed anyone on my e-mail, but I was drinking at dinner so I may be wrong.

Anyway, here are the first 12 volunteers for this draft and George is ready to step in if anyone can't make it.

Okay, here's the lineup card for now if we do run this draft. I'll know for sure by the end of the week. Geoff from MDC.com is in Tampa right now and can't set this up right away anyway. Shawn I've been doing local leagues for years ,I figured time to see what I can do on a grand scale!!! Plus if you can do it I can do, right??? We'll see!!

I think you will enjoy the high stakes baseball game. The 12 team format will is new to all of us. It should be interesting to see how much the drafts change from the first online draft to the last.
