All the players I drafted last night have value somewhere, right? I’d take any of them at the right price. With so many variables changing in the next 6-7 weeks, I’d guess that less than 5 will ultimately end up on my main event team.

I’m not saying I’d place first, but it’s definitely top three. Come March, I expect to have all my prep done, which will result in me uncovering more jewels. In addition, once I see an adp report, that will give me a baseline on where players are going.

So to answer your question, I expect my March team to be a first place league team, a top 10 overall team, and a favorite for the 100K Championship.

Potash

Rumors that quarter will be horrendous.

Rumors that whole economy going down shitter.

Rumors that potash will be a good investment long term.

Matt Kemp

Rumors that he will bat in the bottom part of the lineup thus hurting his value a lot.

Rumors that he will be a good long term play.

Do you feel slighted? 2 stars is an improvement. on the football boards i was one star until i disabled the voting functionality!!

#3 - When it gets to the 24th round and you're drafting your bench, are you looking for backup options on potential injuries to your starters, prospects, pitching, or are you just looking for sleepers that might breakthrough in a big way?

In other words which one of these do you focus on the most when picking your bench?

Thanks Gekko. #1 Selecting the wrong player! Seriously, I'd say not having nough balls to select the player you want to select. ADP is like peer pressure to many players. Gotta break free. Free your mind!

#2 Invest a lot of time. Make a lot of mistakes. Learn from it. Invest more time. "On the road to success, there's one thing you can be sure of, ther's never a crowd to go the extra mile"

#3 You gotta have a couple quality bench players that you can plug in to your starting lineup, because injuries WILL hit you. In addition, you need some breakout guys (just not too many because breakouts usually turn into duds).

Was that you in front of my house, sifting through my trash looking for my discarded cheat sheets?

Nah, just messin with you.

The real question is how many times a day do you say "what?" to your wife when you weren't listening to her, but thinking of fantasy baseball.

And a followup, will the stock market see 12,000 while Obama is in office?

can i get your feelings on rickie weaks?? alot of disussion on him and he seems to be quite volatile in the early drafts...keep in mind he was a 2 time ncaa batting champ and is STILL only 26...at what point(rd) would you consider him? has he ever been on 1 of your teams??

After your bashing of Matt Wieters, is it safe to say he won't be drafted by you in the first 10 rounds?

that ncaa batting champ shitt don't mean shitt in the majors. it's like FUDD saying he can beat some NFBC ass. it don't mean shitt unless you can produce in the bigs!

weaky i wouldn't touch in the top 10 rounds. maybe i'd take a stab around 15.
