Will Mockdraftcentral match position eligibility of NFBC......
I see some discrepancies. Sheffield has outfield eligibility there but shouldn't qualify.

I really think this needs to be fixed. We're putting money on the line here, some MUCH more than others, and there's misinformation during the drafts? Why isn't this cleared up?
As for Kendry Morales, he is listed as an outfielder on MDC but he is UT as far as the NFBC is concerned. I would like Greg to make an executive decision to give him 1B eligibility as he clearly has the inside track at 1st with Teixeira gone. Combine his minor league track record with his winter league dominance and he has a better than even chance of starting the year at 1st base.
I think you do it for Sandoval then you do it for Morales, who I personally feel (don't tell anyone) will outshine him in 2009.

Geoff has been good about using our position eligibilities to match theirs for the most part, but right now I'm sure it's not exact on every single player. I will explain some of our differences on players with Geoff and maybe there's a way to come close on almost every player. Someone like Kendry Morales will likely remain in the OF in MDC.com, although he's UT under our rules.

I wonder if there is a way for Geoff to have our drafts under an NFBC designation where it would only be our position eligibilities.
Also, I'm wondering if there is a master list of all position eligibility for the NFBC or atleast a list of any "executive" decisions you've made on certain players ala Pablo Sandoval.

Unlimited mock drafting until April 10th for $12.99 (which I have used twice now) Annual membership is $26.99. They also sell league draft packages for $19.99, albeit for private leagues. The website also sells shirts, glasses, draft boards for private drafts, various trophies. They also sell advertising space. I personally had never heard of MDC before entering into NFBC satellite events. So my estimation is 100's if not thousands of people that have entered NFBC leagues now know about MDC, and for that reason, I felt that Geoff would be willing to be a little flexible in regards to something as small as position eligibility for NFBC live money leagues.

The Morales eligibility was an error that I've fixed. I apologize to Eddie for our error.
While we'll never match the NFBC 100 percent, please let me know if you encounter any errors with eligibility. I'll look into it and do my best to eliminate any confusion that could come up.
Thanks, guys.

Thanks, guys. Thanks Geoff. 1 question, how are your eligibility guidelines different from NFBC? Are they rigid guidelines such as, such amount of games at certain position equals position eligibility or is it more flexible ie. a prospect doesn't have major league experience but is expected to start at a certain position in the majors this year so you just give him eligibility there?
Side note: Should Sheffield have OF eligibility with only 6 games played there in 2008 or is that a judgement call?

I was participating in a mock draft the other night and there are several players listed on the wrong teams. They were all players that have singed or been traded recently. It would be a good idea if MDC updated thier player lists.

As far as I know, we're up-to-date on most, but a few always slip through the cracks.
