Also - his teammate Elvis Andrus is another guy who seems bound to be overdrafted- Where do you see him going on Avg? i'll pass on davis in the third. 6th round is about as good as it gets. i do know shandler loves the kid. he was talking some BIG numbers.
Elvis - we won't know much until we see how he hits this spring. this is another example of why i'm waiting before i get in a league. i'm not into playing the lottery. i want as much info as possible b4 i jump in. my guess is elvis will settle around an adp of 13/14 round.

2 of the Three Musketeers are named Athos and Portos. For 20 million rupees, what is the name of the third?
Hint: his last name is Ramirez.

~Lance (drafted sober in 2008 and hated it) if u are prepared, the draft is FUN. no difficulties except trying to account for very unexpected things.
lance - this wasn't just an average drunken episode. i wasn't all there if you know what i mean. close to the edge of alcohol poisoning.

How did you like the "Flash Mob" in London a couple days ago, organized on Facebook?
It worked so well (Facebook) that they may rewrite the language to ban inciting peaceful flash mobs!

unfortunately, the economy has me being cautious. let me know how you make out in the main event this year.

I have a couple of nfbc league titles not much to prove to you- including a main event title in Vegas. Not real in to proving stuff to a newcomer who is just on here to make trouble. Pretty much all I have seen from you is negativity. I will resist the urge to join that club.
Back to the facts are lots of great players in every nfbc city. Lots of really good players in satellites who have other restraints that keep them out of the main event. To assume Vegas is the best is unfounded and just plain wrong.
There will also be a couple of new guys who enter and win some serious money this year. You should hope you are one of them. Good luck!

I don't get why people are all over GG to get into an auction league. It's a completely different animal. Yes those guys are some of the best AL/NL auction guys the game has to offer but why should he? If I kicked ass in one of those but didn't play in the main event would you blame me if I stuck to what I'm best at? What if I was the best at salary cap baseball would I have to prove to people that I'm good by playing a different style of game like Auction, Head to Head, or Roto?
For those calling out GG I would say step back and look at what your saying first. Now I know you have to win to make a name for your self in the NFBC. In the past two years GG has done as well as anyone in a two year span so give the man some respect. I myself didn't think to highly of him in the past but then he had two great years and by doing that I respect guy now.

He disrespects all the good players then makes excuses why he wont play agaisnt them in this league or that league. Gimme a break. If he was half as good at these games as he says he wouldnt have a problem challenging some of the better players in leagues. He wants to talk about being the best instead of going out and proving it.
