obviously Coke is bad for you. What does Pepsi do to a nail??!!

I totally respect that even if we sell out tonight, we have to wait for Greg and Tom to run credit cards. Picking draft slots and then having someone's payment bounce would be a nightmare in trying to fill that spot after the fact.

Like everyone else, I want to know about my league and draft spot sooner rather than later. But, I agree with Greg that it has to be done right. Cards have to be run, the list needs to be double checked because there is too much money on the line to have a big screw up. Like the rest, I would like to know Thursday, but if I wait until Friday I'm sure it won't kill me.

The important thing is that I get my #1 KDS preference! :D

Thusday is soooo much better. With the economy today, we are on a four day workweek and I have all day to plan using my known draft slot. Please Thursday

Okay, we had a good run today. We'll pick it up tomorrow morning and see if we can close this out. I know we have a couple of owners considering it right now, so I'll make some calls tomorrow and provide an update soon. I'm sure we'll get there.

Set your KDS preferences tonight because we're downloading all of this tomorrow. If you absolutely have to change something tomorrow, e-mail me or Tom. But we'll start announcing the auction leagues tomorrow and then the Supers and Ultimates on Thursday. Good luck all and thanks again.

[/QUOTE]Oh yeah the good ol days! I sure do miss those weekly Upper Deck prizes. That was one of the many reasons why I signed up. Greg spoiled us back then with big weekly prizes and a big goodie bag full of stuff, and who can forget those Pete Rose autographed baseballs.

I remember wanting to win that Alex Rodriguez and Ken Griffey Jr. autographed jersey so bad and those weeks my team just tanked lol.

I think Greg needs to spoil us again with NFBC league champion jerseys so league champs can show off on Saturday. :D

Greg and Tom........if you ever get bored making a living with sports, I have a job waiting for both of you. I never figured you would be able to sell out this year with the economy what it is. Maybe you guys should give our government some pointers on how to run a business! Fantastic job...no one works harder.

Have to love the fringe benefit of the phone entries.

No worrying about each city and their leagues filling perfectly.

That being said, I think Greg is pulling for the Windy City for number 390...

This is great! Today is the coldest day of the year here (-47 wind chill), but I'm warming up to the idea of a sell out today. I can't wait to see who I'm competing against. You should all hope you're in my Vegas league. I'm a rookie, who only has experience in AL only leagues, so I'll be ripe for the picking, but I'm going to enjoy it to the max. Tonight I get to go to the Eagles concert, then Saturday I leave for Vegas for 10 days of fun.....I just checked the forecast, and it's going to be 75-80 every day. Summer comes in three days. Love it!

Okay, here's the update. Sorry for being out of touch, but today is a day to go over all of the BEO's with the hotels and make sure we have beer in every city!!! :D It's a dirty job, but don't worry about it, it's well worth the effort!! :D All of the rooms in each city are now set up properly, all of the draft boards have been ordered and sent here and all of the phone lines have been ordered. We're ready to go.

We still have one spot left open and Tom is chasing one other credit card, so we still have some work to do. We have a couple of folks who have inquired about this spot and we'll definitely have this filled soon. Then we need to figure out the city configurations because this hasn't worked out perfectly. So we have some work to do, but it's all good.

We'll announce all of the filled Auction League lineups this afternoon starting at 3 ET. See ya then.

I'd also like to thank everyone for not rubbing it in about Canada losing to Italy in the WBC (if anybody's watching....)I didn't even know they played baseball in Italy! That would be kind of like losing to Botswana in hockey....Oh, well, hopefully when I draft Votto, Morneau, and Bay in the first three rounds of the NFBC they'll perform better.....
