Looks like we need 9 more for two Super leagues. Who wants a shot at GG? Remember, in last year's Super I had my worst finish EVER in my fantasy baseball career. I admit, I cracked under the pressure. Will I crack again? You know what I think. ;)

Let's get 9 more people and find out!

You had a shot at us and YOU pulled out.

Bawk Bawk! Now you can hide behind the fact that you weren't in the top 15. But I doubt that Greg let's the "big" fishies go..... so maybe there is still hope for you GG. ;)

Just an FYI: We do have four extras in the Ultimate Draft League and I will contact each of them to see if they will agree to do the Super Draft League if we can't fill a second Ultimate League. So we actually need five more owners for this one if all goes well and I think I have at least one more who is close to committing to this. So we're closer than you think to filling this up.

Awesome. We should have FOUR SPOTS LEFT now for the Sunday, March 22nd Super Draft League as Matthew Bauler of Memphis, Tennessee will take one. I have two other owners I know very interested in this one, so I think we're going to be fine. Here are those owners who are signed up for the Super, and we have four on the Ultimate Draft list that I'll need to contact to see if they would transfer to this draft if that one doesn't go, which is very possible now.

16. Richard Kidd, New York City (NY)

17. Emo Bonaminio, Chicago, Illinois (LV)

18. Steve Asch, Coral Gables, Florida (ORL)

19. Eric Price, New York City (LV)

20. Mike Piazza, Watervielt, New York (NY), tentative

21. Mark Srebro, York, Pennsylvania (NY)

22. Matthew Bauler, Memphis, Tennessee (LV)

Greg -- it does indeed look like there will be 30 teams for the Sunday straight draft Super league (one way or another). Given this, I assume you will randomly assign the 30 teams into the 2 leagues (which is what seems both logical and fair).

Thanks for updating on this!

We're getting closer to another full Sunday Super Draft League as we added another owner tonight. Welcome back to the Super Draft League, Dave Van der Stuyf, and good luck.

I need to talk with the extra Ultimate League owners to see if they will compete in the Super Draft League, but right now we have 12 owners who have given an indication of competing on Sunday, March 22nd. Let's keep the signups coming and I'll call everyone next week to see where we are with this one. Thanks all.

NFBC Super Draft League

$2,500, Sunday, March 22nd, 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST

16. Richard Kidd, New York City (NY)

17. Emo Bonaminio, Chicago, Illinois (LV)

18. Steve Asch, Coral Gables, Florida (ORL)

19. Eric Price, New York City (LV)

20. Mike Piazza, Watervielt, New York (NY), tentative

21. Mark Srebro, York, Pennsylvania (NY)

22. Matthew Bauler, Memphis, Tennessee (LV)

23. Dave Van Der Stuyf, Willow Springs, Illinois

ULTIMATE DRAFT LEAGUE

16. Donn Johnson, Atlanta, Georgia (phone)

17. Nick Cassavetes, Los Angeles, California (LV)

18. Frank Heron, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (ORL)

19. Ante Meich/Anson Chan, Ft. Lee, New Jersey (NY)

This wouldn't necessarily be the second Super Draft League if we are able to get 30 owners in all. Obviously, we'll need to line up the cities once we know the number of owners we have in each city, so don't panic anyone just yet. I know some owners have partners in the other Super Draft League and we'll make sure you're not combined here just because the Ultimate didn't fill up. I'll call those owners this week to explain.

Anyway, let's keep this going and give me a holler if you want to reserve a spot in this Super League. I know there are at least two other owners who are considering this draft, so I think we can fill this one up shortly. Thanks all.

Greg -- I'll make my basic question more acute this time -- given that it is LIKELY that there will be 30 teams in the Sunday Super League(s) (yes, I say leagues, because there will probably be two leagues of 15).

Is it correct to assume that you will randomly assign the 30 signed-up teams across the 2 leagues?

Thanks!

I would think the 1st 15 teams to sign up would be in 1 league and 16-30 in the 2nd. At least I hope that is how it works.

Unless Greg is hoping to have all Vegas Super Draft participants all in one league; I believe there are 8 teams at this time drafting in Vegas.

Thanks! I'll figure this out when and if we fill two leagues. No, don't assume anything. There are some owners who have partnerships with other owners who were in the Ultimate, so if we now move them to the Super they can't be in the same league. That's why they signed up for two different events.

Just let me get to 30 owners first and I'll assign the leagues as they fit per the cities.

Okay, we have 30 teams confirmed now for the Sunday, March 22nd Sunday Super Draft League. I need to give a few people a call first to see who actually will be on the phone and who will be in New York and Chicago before forming the leagues, but several folks on the phone from home is no problem at all. This will work great and we'll have a fun party in Las Vegas.

Here's the lineup card for these two leagues:
