I'm not crazy about that group. After Hanley, you didn't pick many guys that I would have. But, who's to say that I know anymore than you do, so if you got your guys then you are ready to start the season. You will certainly need to find more steals somewhere.

i like that team a lot, esp. if quenton can hit 35 homers. very balanced. if someone gets hurt on la o.f. or pierre gets traded- you move up 5-7 spots in steals. nice team

I liked some picks but not others from beginning to end. If a couple of picks bounce right for you, i.e. Street, Pierre, then you're set. Hopefully Street turns his spring around. Honestly, I think drafting from the #1 or #2 spot (assuming that's when you drafted hanley) is a tough spot to draft from after the 1st rd. Best of luck to you.

Thoughts and comments welcome. Not a bad draft. I question your catcher combination and closer combination. I think Clement and Johjima are decent 2nd catchers, but gambling on both is a bad idea. Street is iffy but I like that you backed him up with Balfour, although Corpas might have made more sense. I'd change your UT to Fukudome who should resemble the guy in the 1st half, not the 2nd, just my opinion.
I think you made some decent picks with your SP selections. You picked atleast 3 guys (Lilly, Meche, Weaver) who are undervalued. I'm not as big on Joba as everyone else. If for some crazy reason he struggles I fear they put him back in the setup role later in the year, that alone keeps me away from him. They will be careful not to overuse him I would think. I'd rather take a proven starter there. Just safer. With Chamberlain, you truly don't know what you got, considering he's never had a full season as a starter before. Also checkout Verducci Effect regarding Joba.
If I were you I'd focus on picking up a reliable SP or two during the year that can replace Wandy when he gets hurt or De La Rosa during a bad stretch. De La Rosa's K potential looks nice but his whip potential is deadly, especially when he might walk 90+ in a full season. He had a nice couple months to end the season but if he continues to walk guys at that rate it won't be pretty especially in combination with the hits allowed per inning he had in the first half. I don't trust him.
You look a little short on stolen bases. I'm seeing about 110.
Besides all that, I think you have a pretty good team. Very, very nice offensive picks. I love the Ethier pick. He could have a huge year sitting in front of Manny. You saw what he did in September with protection. I'm much more impressed with your offense than your pitching, but your pitching has some upside there.
Good draft and could seriously be competitive if you run it well enough.
