Which was the better Adrian pick on Sunday?

(A) Adrian Gonzalez in the 5th round

(B) Adrian Beltre in the 4th round

Jeez... how the hell did that happen??? I took him at 3.2 knowing full well he would not make it back to me.

How do you feel about your team, Gek? Didnt see it posted anywhere. I want to know what my benchmark needs to be...

How do you feel about your team, Gek? Didnt see it posted anywhere. I want to know what my benchmark needs to be... not sure how it happened. chris davis was selected in the 4th. gonzo was not in my draft day plans and i hesitantly passed on him at 4.10. He was still there at 5.6 and I was debating not taking him, but I thought the value was about right. And I got the players i wanted in rounds 5 and 6 in rounds 6 and 7, so it was kinda like hitt'n a grand slam.

Why did I think you were picking 2nd?

Anyways, I think I landed a sick power offense, a little short on legs (~125), and OK pitching. If I thought AGonz was going to last until end of 4, I would have used that 3.2 pick on ARios instead...

[/QUOTE]He wasn't in our draft plans either but we got him with the first pick of the 4th round (we were the 15th pick overall). We went ARam with the last pick of the 3rd, another guy that wasn't in our plans

Good battle down the stretch last year Gekko, hopefully we're fighting it out in similar spots this year.
