Hit on some, missed on some, now I just have to hope for devastating injuries to my peers players and breakout seasons for mine. How'd your draft(s) go?
Best was probably the 650 Mixed Auc; executed my plan in the others but had to settle for some lesser players as more targets were stolen ahead of schedule in the ULT Auction and the Main (surprise, eh?).

An outfield of Delmon, Nady, FLewis, Adam Jones, and Dejesus for a total cost of $25. Also for Longoria at 2.11
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

Seriously, how does Jacobs fall to the 15th round? Not saying he's an 8th rounder by any stetch, but really. I can't wait to see the ADPs on him for the full event.

Vivid reminder of why I don't bother with the main event anymore. Too much slack in the system, too many needless "runs" created by frantic psychology (as opposed to reasoned action), and ... I could go on ...

If you want to test yourselves, try a Super or Ultimate draft. Those "gap" opportunities just don't exist.

Aubrey Huff 10.09

Chris B. Young 10.10

Joe Mauer 11.07

Ty Wigginton 24.06

IMO, these "opportunities" happen in EVERY league.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

I think I posted in another string that this may be the best start I have ever seen!
Gotta agree... J-Roll and Tex on the same team shouldn't of happened...
