My Sympathies!

Post by Edwards Kings » Wed Mar 25, 2009 9:36 am

To all my Astro's friends. Hampton, Moehler, and Ortiz. Not exactly what I would call young talent. I think all these guys were born during the Roosevelt administration....Teddy's to be more precise!
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

My draft (LV2) was the last one to complete, so I guess I just missed you in the post-draft scrum.

Wayne, you didn't have me in mind, did you?

I'm expecting some VERRRRRY long game times this season. It's like we're trying to mimic the other TX team and win those 10 to 9 games.

Remember "Spahn and Sain and pray for rain!" Houton this year might be "Roy and Wandy and go buy candy"!

Oswalt and Moehler and we're all feeling older
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

[/QUOTE]Wandy doesn't rhyme with candy, unless you're crying when you say it.

OK, where's that graemlin with the tears?
