The NFBC Online Championship Is Sold Out!

Tom and I are proud to announce this morning that all 600 spots for the debut NFBC Online Championship have been sold. The event is officially sold out and the grand prize is now a guaranteed $40,000!!!

First of all, we want to thank EVERYONE for making this debut event a BIG success. We never imagined this kind of response and we're proud to have formed 50 leagues and created an event that will just continue to grow and grow through the years. We know we could have sold more leagues, but our rules state that we can go up to 600 and honestly there's no need to go any further. You signed up knowing what your odds of winning the grand prize were and now we have reached our maximum level. Time to draft!!

The good news is that every league will have almost a week to prepare for their draft spots. We'll run all KDS preferences for the remaining leagues tomorrow morning and announce all of the draft picks for those leagues then. Everyone will have had about the same amount of time to prepare for their leagues. We have a nice balance of filled leagues for each designated day and we'll assign one NFBC representative with one MockDraftCentral.com rep to every draft. So we're in good shape to run everything over the next 9 days.

I'll update the overall prize structure today and update the Combined Standings structure as well. Obviously with 600 teams in the Online Championship and 390 teams in the main event, the ranking points will need to be pro-rated for the Online Championship. I'll work with STATS on that to make sure we have that right.

Okay, we still have a lot of work to do, but I'm happy to report that the Online Championship is SOLD OUT!!! I can't believe it, but we hit a grand slam this year!! Thanks all.
