$500 Draft Champions League Openings

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Mar 26, 2009 10:11 am

Just a heads up that we have a $500 Draft Champions League set for Saturday morning, April 4th. I know a lot of folks are busy drafting in the NFBC Online Championship that day, but if you're looking for a fun experience this 45-round Draft Champions League is a great workout. :D

Here's the current signup list:

APRIL 4th

$500 Pay Top 3 Draft Champions League, 11 am EST

1. Craig Kielinski, Exton, Pennsylvania

2. Aaron Smith, Wakefield, Rhode Island

3. Chad Silverstein, Columbus, Ohio

4. David Zwickel, New York, New York

5. Kevin Barhorst, Canal Winchester, Ohio

6. Harris Ackerman, New York, New York

7. Rick Thomas, Lewes, Delaware

8. Brad Breuninger, Pound, Wisconsin

9. David Deterra, Jamestown, Rhode Island

10. John Paolucci, White Plains, New York

11. Pat Sorge, Schaumburg, Illinois

12. Anson Chan, New York City

13. John Pappas, West Hollywood, California

This is 45 rounds, no in-season FAAB, 15 teams, $4,000 for first, $1,500 for second and $500 for third. Let's fill this one up. Who wants to join this select crowd of baseball die-hards? :D

I'd do it but the legal fees to pay for my divorce proceedings would barely cover the potential winnings.

Bump, Bump, Bump

Now that all these injuries are happening, think of how much better this team could be than your other lousy teams!

Okay, John Paolucci became our ninth team to sign up for this Saturday Draft Champions League. Heck, we could run this with 12 teams if we had to. Let's get at least three more teams and make this work. Who else wants to get into this one?

This is the ideal league because there are no in-season FAAB pickups. Draft 45 players and set your lineups once a week. First place is also $4,000. C'mon, we had two $500 DC Leagues last year and now we're struggling to get one. Anyone want to bump off RT and the group above? :D Just contact me here or via e-mail and I'll put you on the list. We don't need the official signup until we fill it up. Thanks all.

keep me posted on this, I have a live draft at 4:30pm about an hour away, sounds tempting, let me know if you get close and I might jump into the shark infesting waters to partake in one more draft

Then there would be no way this one would run into the 4:00 ET start for the online championship. Just a thought as it would be a shame to let this one slip away.

Thoughts?

Okay, we're making some serious progress today on this league. We're up to 11 now and should be able to pull this one off. Pat Sorge said it's snowing so much in Illinois now and for this weekend that his outdoor plans have been scrapped in favor of 5.5 hours of baseball drafting!! He's in for this DC. :D

Welcome aboard Pat and let's get this filled up.
