Pat Sorge said it's snowing so much in Illinois now and for this weekend that his outdoor plans have been scrapped in favor of 5.5 hours of baseball drafting!! He's in for this DC. :D

Welcome aboard Pat and let's get this filled up.

Here's the current signup list:

APRIL 4th

$500 Pay Top 3 Draft Champions League, 11 am EST

1. Craig Kielinski, Exton, Pennsylvania

2. Aaron Smith, Wakefield, Rhode Island

3. Chad Silverstein, Columbus, Ohio

4. David Zwickel, New York, New York

5. Kevin Barhorst, Canal Winchester, Ohio

6. Harris Ackerman, New York, New York

7. Rick Thomas, Lewes, Delaware

8. Brad Breuninger, Pound, Wisconsin

9. David Deterra, Jamestown, Rhode Island

10. John Paolucci, White Plains, New York

11. Pat Sorge, Schaumburg, Illinois Are we stuck at 11? C'mon, let's get at least one more and we can still run it with 12 owners. That's still 540 players and we can still pay three spots, just slightly differently. Who wants to save this league by joining us today? :D

Can we get David Clum back in? Why did he bail?

I would do this if we could change the date or time.....unfortunately, I'll be on the road when this draft is scheduled.

Okay, I think Anson Chan is going to jump in, which would bring us to 12 teams. Is everyone cool with this at 12 teams if nobody else joins the league? We'll announce draft picks tomorrow and still give it the next day to add more teams, but this is A GO for Saturday morning. Sound good?

Thank you

John Will do John. If we can get to 13 teams, we'll try to make it minimal. First place would be $3,500 instead of $4,000, but that's still 7:1. Second and third would go down slightly as well.

We have 12 for now and one more team seems interested. Anson Chan is in and we're glad to have him on board. I'll know for sure tomorrow. Here's the current lineup:

APRIL 4th

$500 Pay Top 3 Draft Champions League, 11 am EST

10. John Paolucci, White Plains, New York

11. Pat Sorge, Schaumburg, Illinois

12. Anson Chan, New York City

-CK John Pappas of West Hollywood, California originally signed up for the $500 Draft Champions League and now is back in for this. Great and welcome back John. That puts us at 13, give or take one in the next day, so let's get this on. Set your KDS preferences tonight and we'll move forward and draft on Saturday morning. Thanks all.

Okay, I think we're set with 13 owners for tomorrow's DC draft at 11 ET. Shick Tang has jumped into the foray, but Rick Thomas had a personal conflict and has to drop out. That leaves us with 13 owners. Here's the lineup card:

APRIL 4th

$500 Pay Top 3 Draft Champions League, 11 am EST

1. Craig Kielinski, Exton, Pennsylvania

2. Aaron Smith, Wakefield, Rhode Island

3. Chad Silverstein, Columbus, Ohio

4. David Zwickel, New York, New York

7. Brad Breuninger, Pound, Wisconsin

9. John Paolucci, White Plains, New York

10. Pat Sorge, Schaumburg, Illinois

11. Anson Chan, New York City

12. John Pappas, West Hollywood, California

13. Shick Tang, San Francisco, California

Look for the invitation from MockDraftCentral.com this morning and the draft order from Tom very soon. He's running KDS this morning for this one. We'll draft 45 rounds with no in-season FAAB.

We'll have $800 less in prize money with two less teams, so let me figure this out. Maybe something like this and I'll eat $200 of that:

1st: $3,600

2nd: $1,400

3rd: $400

That's $600 less, but with two less teams your chances of winning just improved. Thanks all and good luck tomorrow.

I think we have a 14th owner who is going to jump in with us tomorrow and take the 14th pick. Heck, by tomorrow we may be full. :D Anyway, be prepared for a 14th team and an increase in the prize money again. Thanks all and I'm glad we were able to fill this league up. Should be a fun, fun draft tomorrow morning and into the afternoon. Good luck all.

Greg/Tom,

I know it's last minute, but if you have an opening, I'll take it. I will draft from the 15 hole or wherever.

If too late, I understand.

Thank you,

Mike

-CK No problem Craig. I need to check with MDC.com to get this set up correctly. Tom and I are reaching out to Geoff now.

Thank you,

Mike You're in Michael. We're working with Geoff and Jason now to try and get you in the draft. With any luck, you'll be drafting 14th in a field of 15. Last minute is fine by me if MDC.com can get this done. Thanks for jumping in. Now the prize structure can stay the same, $4,000 for first, $1,500 for second and $500 for third.
