Upton, Reynolds will not start Opening Day

Melvin was quoted as saying he wanted to get some left-handed bats in the lineup against tougher right-handed pitching.

T Clark and C Tracy will man the corners on opening day.

no surprise here. upton was doing just as bad as dukes at the end of spring training! if i may be bold enough to suggest...he might get shipped back to AAA.

as for reynolds, maybe he will be the dbacks designated pinch hitter. that way, he can only K 162 times this season
