What do NFBC owners of Adenhart do?

Does he vanish from your team and then you make a waiver add ?

Gotta feel for his family...very sad. Adenhart is survived by his father Jim and mother Janet. His family released the following statement:

"Nick's family expresses sincere gratitude for all the help the Angels have provided. He lived his dream and was blessed to be part of an organization comprised of such warm, caring, and compassionate people. The Angels were his extended family. Thanks to all of Nick's loyal supporters and fans throughout his career. He will always be in everyone's hearts forever."

i hate to bring this up, but when does adenhart hit the MLB DL or whatever official MLB list he hits? i had him active last night for his start. by rule, i should be able to replace him before friday's game. this is such sad news for any family. my condolenses to the adenhart family.

Our rule technically says that a player needs to be officially placed on the DL in order to be replaced on Friday. So unless that happens with Adenhart, you won't be able to replace him with a DL move. You'll have to wait until Sunday to drop him for a free agent.

I had no idea why someone would think he had a free waiver transaction coming out of the tradgedy, but based on his second post I'm sure he was sincere. Kentucky's post would be an important concern if you had him rostered.

Back to the topic at hand, he seemed like he was coming around to what scouts always said he could do. A sad day for baseball.

Free as in will Stats inc just remove him so that a team owner doesn't have to waive him.

I just removed him from 55 leagues out of respect. I don't want anyone waiving him.

Might be hard to do with 150+ leagues and the way statistics could be affected here.

Shocking, sickening, devastating to his family and team. I've been an Angels fan all my life. We'll recover, as we have before...but his family never will, and the baseball world has been deprived an incredible young talent.

RIP Nick.

What a terrible shame to lose such a fine young man with a promising future. I feel fortunate to be at last nights game to see him pitch.

RIP Nick

Go with God, Nick.
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

Did I hear right that his dad got to see him pitch last night and that Adenhart said before the game that he thought he was going to have a good night?

Tragic and so sad. He had so much to look forward to. The drunk driver had a previous record and also fled the scene until he was caught 30 min later.
