Upper Deck, Steiner Sports To Return In 2005
I will provide more formal announcements when all of the details are finalized, but I'm happy to report that the NFBC will again have the Upper Deck Company and Steiner Sports as sponsors of our weekly giveaways. Upper Deck will again sponsor the NFBC Weekly Contest, where the top overall team for that week wins a nice autographed memorabilia item from Upper Deck Authenticated. Last year our list included everything from Ken Griffey Jr. autographed photos to an Alex Rodriguez autographed jersey. Upper Deck will finalize the list shortly for 2005 and we'll put that list and images of each item on the web site soon. Thanks to Upper Deck for being part of the NFBC again in 2005 and feel free to check them out at www.upperdeck.com.
Steiner Sports will also provide 26 autographed memorabilia items that will be randomly given away to NFBC members throughout the year. Steiner Sports is again sponsoring the Question of the Week poll and each week we'll pull a name out of the list of NFBC members for a free autographed item. In case you didn't know, Steiner Sports has exclusive autographed deals with several MLB players, including most of the New York Yankees and several Boston Red Sox stars. We'll also update that list of items soon with pictures and values of every item. Thanks again to Steiner Sports for its support of the NFBC for the second straight year and don't be afraid to check them out at www.steinersports.com.
We'll have more announcements about sponsorships coming soon as we're finalizing other deals with industry companies. We're also working on those goodie bags and hope to top last year's list of goodies that you receive on Draft Day. Stay tuned.

Still working on it. Hopefully I'll get both soon. Are you already mapping out which weeks you want your team to get hot for?

After getting walloped with 2 feet of snow on Sunday, we are getting slammed with another 10 inches today, so I was hoping to catch a glimpse of some weekly prizes to warm me up. Looking for a compliment to our Griffey jersey...

We have the 26 items from Steiner Sports and STATS is posting them today, hopefully. We have some nice giveaways from them and will be happy to list them soon.
We are talking with Upper Deck this week about their promotion. There's a little road block there, but hopefully we'll get that ironed out this week.

Nice. Some good stuff from Steiner. Last year loved the autographed shirts, bats, gloves, hats, that unique stuff was great from Upper Deck...

No autographed Pete Rose ball. Upper Deck has told me that we'll have the complete list of 26 items before the end of the week. Sorry for the delay and we both wish we had the list earlier, but they've had some personnel changes there since we announced this. I promise we'll have 26 items from Upper Deck Authenticated for the top weekly team and we'll have them listed and pictured before the end of the week.
We'll also have 26 items from Steiner Sports that we'll hand out one per week and Leaderboard Sports is also providing 26 autographed trading cards of Meat Loaf that we'll provide this year. More details on those soon, but those cards are selling for $70 apiece right now. Thanks once again to UDA, Steiner and Leaderboard Sports.com.
