News: The New York Daily News reports that Chien-Ming Wang won't be back on a mound for the Yankees for at least "the next few weeks" after he was placed on the disabled list following Friday's game in Boston with a condition general manager Brian Cashman called "weak abductor muscles in his hips," a problem diagnosed by Dr. Mark Lindsay, the rehab specialist currently working with Alex Rodriguez in Tampa.
Do they expect anybody to believe this? Can't they just tell the truth, he's mentally a wreck and needs a time out. He should setup a press conference and offer a formal apology for screwing every fantasy team that owns him.
Either way, Phil Hughes should get the call.
