Having a dumpy catcher really sucks as you feel like you are getting lapped by everyone else. Having TWO dumpy catchers is among the worst feelings one can have when selecting their starting lineups on Mondays.

With Posada now out of action a month or two, the catcher ranks really reek:

*McCann basically out of action or ineffective the whole season!

*Doumit out for months!

*Posada out for what could be a couple months!

*Soto is just a SNAFU this year. Likely hurt but trying to play through it.

*Johjima recently back from injury!

*Mauer out of action the whole season (until this week). However, back injuries for a catcher are like hamstring injuries for a sprinter. If you are a Mauer owner you need to keep that insurance catcher on your bench (at least I would), esp with how thin the FAAB pool is with catchers!

*Wieters demoted (and has been plagued by hamstring injury)!

*Schneider hurt!

Bad, bad year to be a catcher…

FUDD took Posada in the KJ salary cap league. I don't remember how many bucks it cost him, but it was significant. I told him he would end up getting Posadamized.

looks like the best of the "M" boys isn't mccann, mauer or martin, but victor, benji, and yadier.

In an auction league, I rostered Yadier for a reasonable price and Bengie had not yet been nominated, so I was hoping he would last and I could get him as well and use "The Flying Molina Brothers" as a team name..........no such luck the next guy nominated Bengie who went in the high teens which I couldn't afford at that point :(

Sota wasn't bad for $29 in NYC. I guess I overpayed. Still early though, I hope.

In the ultimate i went R Hernandez in the 16th round but stuck gold in the 22nd round ,that would be Mr Inge.

In the main i wanted to be a hero and took Doumit in the 7th round and never had the tingley feeling but in the 22nd round landed J Flores and he's been very good.
