82 pitches in high stress innings and maybe Macha got sick of watching him walk everyone. I'd assume that's all it takes unless you saw the game and know something I don't

Josh Johnson-S-Marlins May. 14 - 5:01 pm et

The Marlins are now saying that Josh Johnson had some weakness in his right shoulder before coming out of Thursday's game.

The official word during the game was that there was no injury, but the Marlins said afterwards that there was an area of some concern. "It just doesn't feel great," Johnson said. "I wanted to go back out there. It's not tight. Almost weak. But then I came in here and did all the strength stuff, and they told me it's not weak. I've heard stories of people leaving Colorado and feeling absolutely awful their next start." Johnson threw eight innings at high-altitude Coors Field five days ago.

Its on our license plates

:D :D :D

That comment does remind me of younger days when I was on both sides of Lance's handle. One year, the NBA team who played the Nuggets in Denver and had a game the following evening was a loser to the spread an incredible 90% for the year for that following game.

[/QUOTE]I am not sure if the Nuggets nugget is due to a Colorado environmental impact. I think the other teams were just plain weak. I mean, would you be able to eat after being in such close contact with and looking at Dan Issel?

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

First at bat...took 4 pitches...zero swings for a strikeout looking..

Second at bat...swung twice at 4 pitches, strikeout looking.

Although it was minor...he was leaning and arching/stretching his lower back after the first hard swing he took...but it looked minor.
