didn't come close in my online championship team. One thing I've noticed in the online championship so far. You can get fairly solid players for very cheap with a lot of time not getting one competitive bid, but as soon as a prospect gets brought up, all of a sudden it's time to break the bank.

I don't get it, but I like it.

Man would i love it Bill Hall could get 10 games at 2nd base.Have him in a slow draft and weak at 2nd base and could use some flexabilty. How about Zobrist he does something every week and play's outfield and shortstop. With Burrell out he should even get more at bats.I have him in three leagues and full steam ahead.

I've already wasted most of my FAAB on prospects such as Brandon Wood, Phil Hughes, Matt LaPorta and so on so forth, only to watch them flounder.....need one of these guys to be the Man!

[/QUOTE]you better wait til hanson gets called up cause gamel is not going to be "The Man" anytime soon. should see some solid AB's this week with interleague, but unless there is an injury id be surprised by much production this year.

like previous posts... you simply cant have hall at 2nd and gamel at third. that would be a horror show.

Trade Hall for a 2B and start Gamel at 3B. Lots of options but they need gamels bat in that lineup now.

If I were the Brewers - I'd call the Indians about DeRosa and if not him then maybe Barfield. Anyone who can pitch would likely be enough to get it done. I think the indians are ready to commit to Peralta at 3B and Cabrera at SS and could live with Carroll/Valbuena at 2B.

I've been a Gamel owner all season in the NL-only auction, but some of these mixed league bids have Scherzer '08 all over them.

scherzer went for 300+ in every league! These bids are not even close to that. He went for $27 in one league, i think that owner fed his league sleeping pills! How do you not take a chance for $30 atleast. Crazy!
