Sure sounds like some kind of "mental" issue. I didn't know his dad passed away 9 months ago.

i wish joey and his family well. sounds like he will be out a while.

I would say the odds aren't too good, and I'll be hard at work for conspiracy theories if ANOTHER player goes down with dizziness due to anxiety. I'm still at a loss for words from Cojack's valley fever and lost season. Factor in all of the hip injuries...

Looks like Joey Votto may be back tommorrow.

Joey Votto (stress) may return to the big league lineup on Tuesday, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer.

This speculation is based on circumstantial evidence like Votto not being on any of the Reds' minor league rosters and, perhaps more telling, a "Joey Votto" is registered at the Toronto hotel where the team is staying. Votto also hails from Toronto, so don't be surprised if he's activated at some point Tuesday.
