Willis???? 1-hitter?

I find this hard to believe but I just saw the box score for Detroit/Texas. Wow, Willis one hits Texas for 6 1/3 innings... Nice to see him recover, you have to think this is a mirage but who knows? stranger things have happend...

Thoughts? back or head fake?

I don't know what's more staggering, the one hit, or only two walks. If there was any team that might heighten the anxiety, it would be the Texas offence...

I doubt he'll repeat this performance on back to back outings, but it's nice to see there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Im happy for this former all star and hope he can pick his career back up.I dont have him in any leagues but im sure he's on a few waiver wire's.

Agree with Eddie. Would like to see him back. Brings a great energy and affable personality to the game. Plus I'm starting to feel bad for Detroit. They eat Sheff's salary, are contemplating releasing and eating Magg's, Guillen is aging fast, Bonderman is a big question mark, and they've gotten ZERO from Willis before last night.

Worst of all, Todd Jones retired!
