I got caught up in the hype last week on his call-up and massively overpaid for him with respect to FAAB. I thought it looked promising for him to take over 1B (even with his poor defense), because Ishikawa has looked awful with the bat. The next day everything blows up: Bochy has a hunch and replaces Guzman with Ishikawa in the starting lineup for Monday's game. Ishikawa has a career game and Sandoval's sore elbow becomes an issue, relegating him to 1B. The result: Guzman heads back down to AAA.
