Even though he is "owned" by 2.9% of NFBC owners, would it be possible to take Nick Adenhart off the Free Agent list?

Or is this impossible due to leagues that cannot drop players?

Just seems like the right thing to do.

Larry, please don't take this personally as I certainly don't mean any disrespect, but I see absolutely nothing offensive, disrespectful, sketchy, or otherwise out of the ordinary with leaving Nick Adenhart in the pool. This feels like the political correct police arresting stats and the NFBC for the sole sake of political correctness when it is not needed and is a little out of place. If anything removing his name now is drawing more attention to this tragedy and for what reason? No one wants to be reminded of tragedy but are you really upset because you see his name in your FAAB pool?

We all feel awful for Nick, the Angels, and the Adenhart family but what in the world would possess you to make a post requesting this?

Again, not trying to bust your balls and I don't want to discourage you from posting on the boards (in fact, post more) but what in the world makes you think removing his name is "the right thing to do?"

disclaimer- I'm a little on edge about our society's guidelines for political correctness. They (whoever they even are) have us walking around on eggshells watching landmines explode all around us because one person said this word and this person had the wrong tone and over there a joke was told that was "offensive". It has many scrambling around trying to find fault where there is none. It's ridiculous and counter-productive. It creates ill will where there was none originally intended. It magnifies. It morphs non-issues into issues. What are we doing?

To me, the beauty of the BORAS post isn't his position on Adenhart's name being removed (I totally agree w/post); but rather in SCOTT's fearless decision to stand up with a thought provoking, controversial ? look at a topic many run from. KUDOS to BORAS, whoever you are.

The last thing I'll ever be while on this planet is "politically correct."

I made a mistake and should have directed my question to Greg or Tom privately and not posted on the board. While I appreciate the responses, was just looking for a factual answer and did not really mean to open up any kind of discussion.

scott- totally agree. what political correctness is- is a bunch of people that don't want to sacrifice anything to feel "good" about themselve and wants to feel ther are " better" than others. what could be easier than correcting others verbage? i grew up in the era of " black power". a year ago at a soccer game do to endless ranting by other teams parents i finally told a few their team would be no better than ours if they didn't have the black d 1 signee that was clearly faster than all others( whioh- trust me- was true). afterwards one of our moms made a point of coming over and calling me a racist for calling the girl black.
