YES Alexie Rameriz has come on as late so doesnt make the list and Rios is still on pace for 20 homers and 20 steals and feel the best is yet to come. I think you've set a record, Eddie.
On pace is usually done by the middle of May.
Soon, it'll be either, "If his second half is like his first half" or "If he could just turn it around in the second half"

Two more gems for consideration: Conor Jackson and Jose Valverde. Also, Delmon Young deserves a nod, but it's tough to put a mid-teen pick into the top 5.
Ortiz joins Andruw Jones and Jason Giambi in just having their skills (strength)disappear for a long period of time.
Most likely, enhancments had something to do with it. Sort of like a 60 to zero effect.
With Giambi in the news virtually admitting to steroids, it was easy for the Yankees. They tried to send him down and when he wouldn't go, he was benched for long periods of time. Tougher for the Jones and Ortiz Managers. No real proof except for the pathetic performance.

Alex Gordon, Doumit, Nolasco.... These three bring to mind that this thread at this point should be called "Biggest bust of the first 1/3 of the year!"

Although, all these players are on pace to have a bad year.

Ahh Nolasco! Finally gets his due. I feel your pain Eddie - he's killed both of my Online pitching staffs. I almost said singlehandedly, but he had accomplices. Most of them of course have been launched into exile, but Nolasco is one of those pitchers that you count on as a staff stabilizer (Based on last years second half which continued into spring this year) and is given more time to correct than others. Which is why his performance to date has been so toxic to his owners. It's one thing to be of no help, quite another to put up performance after performance that just kill your ratios! Prior to his recall the only time I think I didn't play him was on his visit to Colorado, which happened to be his best performance of the year! Congratulations Ricky-you've truly earned and deserve inclusion on this top 25 list.
