Midseason Awards for Bold Picks
Below are 20 players who receive the "BOLD PICKS" award for player results to date. 2 criteria were used in making selections. 1. MLB player must be performing at a level significantly higher than his "main event" ADP. 2. MLB player must have been selected by an NFBC team significantly earlier than his ADP. I only looked at the 26 leagues making up the main event.

Bartlett is amazing never realized he was such a good hitter.Branyan just needs at bats and this year will finally get over 5oo at bats which will be an easy 35 homers and probably 40.Johhny Cueto is the stud on this list as i didnt know he was this good ,didnt get him in a single league.

Teahen- an outfielder with 29 rbi?
Garrett Anderson has 30.
Elijah Dukes has 30 and was sent down!
Somebody is going to have to let me in on the love for Teahen this year. Heck, except for runs, Scott Hairston has better numbers than him across the board.

A trade with the Brewers and the Royals would have Teahen Coffey.

What about 10 game winner Tim Wakefield? This guy could easily win 20 games this year the way he pitches deep into games and I think he went round 28-30 in most leagues. Now thats a steal for your 6th SP if you ask me.

He's produced at the level of a #4OF or #3CI or roughly a 15th round pick. ADP had him going in round 26 and Slacker's grabbed him in round 20

Good choice.
The wife of "Buddy" on the Dick Van **** Show was named "Pickles". If she had married Don, the jokes could have stretched his show another 10 minutes.

I wondered what they would have said if Eddie Pick had played with Lew Flick..."It's Pick n Flick and we will be right back!"

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
