Ryan and Greg, Thank you very much for addressing my earlier comments with your in depth answers. My computer is on the fritz, so I have to go to my mom's house once a day and use her computer to catch up - thus my delay in responding. Keep up the good work! Thanks!

The contract is in hand, but I'm sure it will take a few days to finalize all of that. Nothing in the next day or two with Ryan and Charlie flying to the Great Northwest today. There was snow on the ground this morning here for them, but it's gone now. Bummer. 45 and sunny for a brisk, beautiful fall day for the boys to see our digs for the first time.

Keep thinking about the potential host hotel and then be ready for a surprise. ;)

Kudos to Greg,Tom and Ryan for putting together an attractive package of formats. If my math is right, for an $1800 buy-in you get a shot at approximately $268k in total prize money(combined National, league and bonus dollars).Seems to me to be a truly outstanding value!!The addition of a "live online" format retains the original flavor of the NFBC Main event at a price point that will not only attract new players but will also entice current NFBC members to take the plunge for that second live draft format that everyone enjoys. Creative thinking and packaging of formats like this should keep the NFBC strong for years to come.I can't wait to hear the rest of your plans!!!I've only been playing in the NFBC for 3 years now but have already become addicted to it and will probably be hooked for life with all these new formats....keep it coming!!!!

But two questions:

1) If a player does Live Play option only is he eligible for Main/Online bonus

2) Are the Online and Live Play option scored separately and THEN combined.....seems obvious but have to ask Perry, keep the sun out until I get there in November!! :D It's cold, damp and dark here again.

1. No. The bonus is for the Main and Online/Live participants. You must be in the NFBC main event for a shot at the $75,000 cash bonus.

2. They are scored together as one for the Online Championship $60,000 grand prize (and other overall prizes) and separately for the Live $25,000 grand prize (and overall prizes). Two listings and two sets of standings to follow each and every day for one $500 entry. What a deal!! :D

My answer to anyone who is looking to play in the main event like they did last year with everyone there is Saturday, March 27th. And if you're looking to draft live again in Las Vegas Fred, then my answer definitely to you would be Saturday, March 27th. It will have everything you experienced for the first time last year AND MORE!! And at a premiere hotel that you will enjoy as now the best DRAFT and DRAFT EVENT!!

That's my answer. The NFBC Draft Day has been moved to Saturday, March 27th this year. Come one, come all. And if you can't make that date, we will be there on Saturday, March 20th for a main event draft, allowing you to compete with 404 other owners for the $100,000 grand prize. See you on the 27th.
