The Unofficial Las Vegas 2010 NFBC Signup Thread

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Oct 16, 2009 8:46 am

We're still working on the new NFBC web site and should have that done soon. When that happens, we'll officially start to take signups for all of our events. Hopefully we'll also have contracts for the other cities done by then, too.

But there seems to be a buzz for our Saturday, March 27th main event at The Bellagio and some folks want to at least unofficially get on the signup list for that one. A lot of folks already have their rooms reserved there, so they want to be put on the main event signup list. This one is unofficial, but what he heck, LET'S GET THE BALL ROLLING!! :D

I haven't had a chance to talk to our $241,600 man, Lindy Hinkelman, but I know he's coming for sure to defend his main event title and NFBC Online Championship title in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 27th. He definitely has to be there to get a Yoo-Hoo Shower from the CDM and NFBC clans, right? :D Congrats again Lindy and we'll celebrate your accomplishments together in March and then watch these guys try to knock you off your pedestal the next day!! :D

If you want to be among the first on this signup list, just place your name on this thread and mark either date for the main event or both. We can adjust the real signup list once the Registration page is done, but this will be some fun for the time being.

Here we go. We are 5+ months away from Draft Day – just 155 days from the first main event and 162 days away from the March 27th main event – but I bet we can fill at least one league by the end of the day!! :D Who wants to secure a spot??

Do I qualify for the 3-Pack Special if I do the ME and two $800 Auctions rather than a Double Play?

Cool! I will get in touch with you about special later as you must be rather busy. You can count on me for Mar. 19 9:00 and 4:00 $800 Auctions plus Mar. 20 Main Event. Just to make you boys a bit jealous I return home from Vegas only to tag along with my wife for a medical conference to Phoenix to catch a few spring training games. Thank you, Dear!

Well since I've already booked my room at "Bellagio", you might as well sign me up on the 27th as well Greg. I'm still considering the 20/21st too, but besides the logistics of 10 consecutive days or a Las Vegas turnaround, I have to contend with those two fork banging/ bib wearing chow hounds, Sack and Enzyte, who are trying to 'double-dip' on our breakfast wager. If I do show for the earlier event I'll probably use an alias. I'll definitely be wearing a disguise!

for the last half of the season my baseball time went from 25 hours a week to less than 5 AND I STILL HAD A VERY PROFITABLEYEAR.

come to vegas, you'll find out.
