Schedule and Event Fees?

Post by Liquidhippo » Thu Oct 22, 2009 5:04 am

I've skipped through various threads and there is A TON to wade through. Has anything been decided as far as the league/event offerings and schedules and the proposed Event Fees? I'm trying to plan for next year and lock up the Bellagio rooms at the discounted rate, however until I know exactly what will be offered, and where, and how much it will cost(one Event Fee, or multiple Event Fees for each and every league we sign up for?) that's not possible.

They have you down for a six pack of event fees! With six events, you get a 50 % discount on the second night and one visit from a special guest from the Fisher Party!

I've looked for such a list also, Greg, but don't see one. It is very confusing. I have no idea what all the options are yet.

It's been a crazy week here with Tom and I just moving into our new offices during a driving rainstorm and then trying to construct desks and shelves and chairs, etc. Have you ever seen two left-handed unhandymen trying to construct anything with 24 pages of directions per item? We're just useless in this line of work!! :D

I'll spell everything out next week. I'm sorry for the delay on all of this, but we'll figure it out and we'll reward multiple event owners, I promise. We're not going to be stupid in this regard. But we're also going to do our best to upgrade each event going forward.

Now I must go over to Tom's office and help him put a door handle on a cabinet. We either have the door handle upside down the cabinet inside out or the drawers backwards. :D Something definitely is not right with that thing. :D

Greg, I for one want to commend you guys for your proactive thinking and taking the needed steps to upgrade the draft experience. I fail to understand the negative posts, but then remember that it is male egos doing the writing. Open your minds, gentlemen. Greg and Tom have a vision. This seems to be a fork in the road for some.

Schedule and Event Fees?

I apologize for being out of the loop the last few days, but moving into a new office and trying to work on our first baseball magazine deadline is preventing me from finalizing our NFBC plans. We're struggling to lock down space in Chicago and New York, which makes it tough to unveil our new web site without the locations locked in. Once we can unveil those locations we'll be good to go.

Give me a few more days to finalize some things and then we can return to the debates about locations, Events Fees, multiple entry incentives and more. I promise we'll have all of this figured out before the end of the World Series. Once I'm done reviewing third basemen and outfielders, I'll have a little more time for the NFBC. But we'll be good to go soon.

Thanks all.
