Xcel spreadsheet draft programs..

Post by JAR » Sun Feb 13, 2005 9:59 am

Does anyone have (or know of) a good xcel spreadsheet draft program.

I wrote one myself a few years back with a bunch of bells and wistles.. but lost it in a hard drive crash. I'd rather not spend another week working on another one if I don't have to.

Basically I'm looking for a multi-function spreadsheet that will allow you to input overall and positional cheat sheets, X # of teams and roster requirements, all linking together.

Thanks in advance!
Good plan. I don't have the time to make one for you that explodes in round 8 and releases a virus in your computer.

All you have to do is eliminate all your security controls and open yourself up to the internet and you can make a cheat sheet based on their projections.

They have Carl Crawford #23 overall. Good luck with that.

besides, you can change the projections as you see fit. then cross off the names as players are drafted.

seems like a draft application to me. maybe not as high tech as the thread starter had wanted, but better than nothing

This guy is pimping a product, which is cool - but I was disappointed when I went to check out a 'draft application' and found a cheat sheet generator.

I'm sorry that information bothers you, Mother Russia still loves you.
Who are the beggars here? You're telling me that this tool can be printed out and crossed off with a pencil and you feel that's equivalent to an excel draft application?

Cool by me - pad of paper always rocks, but magazines have these things, too.

If I could get all the Presidents on my palm in 4th grade history, I would think I could get quite a few rounds on my hands now.

Just don't laugh when I take off my shoes.

Note to self: Make sure its indelible ink, don't want to sweat your cheat sheet away.

Second note to self: Remeber to wear Dick Tracey X-Ray glasses to get through Dyv's lead pencil in anticipation of getting his next pick.

Third note to self: Dyv's in Vegas, need new target. Even North Korea won't sell me that much uranium in time.

Wake up Dyv! Mother Russia? Where did that come from? You shouldn't try to speak about something you know nothing about, you obviously slept through history class. But that is OK because like you said, all idiots are entitled to there comments here. The guy asked for a little help and you who seem to perceive yourself to be the NFBC policeman have to butt in with your opionion. Maybe if you spent a little time in the military protecting your country, you would have the right to claim freedom of speech.

Stalin is proud of you.

I'm not sure if you realize it, but Russia still exists... perhaps a little less time in history and more in geography for you?

I take it that tangentwhatever site is something you're involved in? Not much other explanation for your over-the-top defensiveness here?

I'm nobody's policeman - just a smart alec that hangs around these boards on occasion and makes observations like 'hey, that's not what he said it was'

The hard part for you is that I'm simply telling the truth. Not much farther to go to get past the obvious... keep going.

Dyv

p.s. Your site is pretty, I bookmarked it.
the beggar is the person asking for the application.

did i state that this application was the equivalent to an excel draft application? no

he asked, i responded. if it wasnt as high tech as he had hoped or exactly what he was looking for, o well, it was both better than nothing, and better than the excel app that you provided

IMO, anyone looking for a draft app this late in the game will get "run over" by the gekko bus and be deemed sheep roadkill
