mixed auction question

What is the lineup structure because all that is shown in ruled are AL and NL.. ( there was no mixed last yr) If there is no dh or util position what would happen with a guy like glaus? Would we have to wait to reserve draft to acquire him? For this reason i would assume there is a util position but i want to make sure
