Did Anyone Get Fantasy Sports Magazine Yet?

Greg,

Add me to the list. Actually I passed by the magazine in my local bookstore and started thumbing through it. After two minutes, I couldn't resist, who cares about 8 bucks as I needed my fix. The magazine is wonderful as it truly is tailored to the high stakes player. I really enjoyed the commentary from all of the top money winners. For those who haven't read it yet, I simply reference you to page 119 and Marc Rzepczynski's player profile, "Power lefties that induce groundballs are as valuable as a credit card at the Mustang Ranch." Journalism at its finest. Greg, I know you and Tom wrote a bunch of these profiles, which of you is responsible for this fine write up? Classic. Once again, great magazine which great insight.

Still no mag here as well. Credit card payment went several weeks ago.

I was walking thru kroger's yesterday, it dawned on me that fantasy baseball magaines may be coming out soon. i walked over to the magazine section, and voila, the magazine in question was there! i bought it and had it home in 20 minutes, no shipping costs, no nothing...pardon me for coming in at the back end, but whats the big deal? the issue with the magazines, watched from afar, is semi-comical. seems to me to be symptomatic. if my record in this competition was better(83rd last year, 3rd in my league), i would say "if you NEED this magazine you shouldnt be in this", but it's not so i wont....whats my point? not sure, its just painful to watch all the bickering over something so small. this is supposed to be fun, interesting and profitable(you pick the order)

Thanks! We just got copies from the printer yesterday, so I'd say it will be on newsstands by Jan. 15th or so. That one is 196 pages and an even better read than the first one. The entire staff did a great job on the Fanball.com Annual.

Thanks. Mike, if you ordered it and still don't have it then I'm even more disappointed than you. Charlie said all orders went out on the 22nd, but it's inconceivable that it would still take nine days from the printer. I just can't believe this. I'm not writing to complain as you seem to be a man of your word, but I want to let you know of the response that I received from Fanball regarding the tardiness of receiving the mag:

Scott,

Thank you for contacting Fanball Customer Service. Any magazine orders placed on or before 12/16 were shipped from our offices via first class mail on 12/16 (my order was placed 11/25). Any orders placed after 12/16 were sent out within 24 hours except for orders on Saturday in which those would have been shipped the following Monday. We apologize for the delay in shipping as the post office does get backed up around this time of year. Your magazine order should be received shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

This message was received 12/29 and is contrary to your statement that they were sent directly from the printer. Based on this response from Fanball, I am concerned with their thoroughness and deflection of this issue. Again, I only bring this up because their update conflicts with yours. I will post when the magazine arrives.

I still haven't received mine either. Any chance those of us who haven't gotten it yet or got after the deadline can get the next issue on you guys like edelman24? No biggie either way but I just wanted to know if I need to go out and buy the annual on Jan 15th.

what a clusterfuk this has been. what was supposed to be a treat for owners has turned into a nightmare.

i didn't order a mag, but please SOMEONE take ownership of this issue so the rest of us don't need to continue to read posts like these. please.
