Player Names and IDs

Nice to see the player eligibility lists up. Not so nice to see that they contain the same typos etc. as last year's lists. No big deal perhaps, but, if you use the computer to query for player data, it can be a massive pita.

If you do use database/excel queries, you might find this useful. It will direct you to a file that maps player names and IDs from different sources. It's as up-to-date as is reasonably possible. No site that I have contacted so far (and this includes stats, nfbc, and fanball, among others) has ever responded to requests for data or discussion, and so it's not as easy to collect the data as it could be.
