At OF, they have:
Davis, Crisp, Sweeney, Hairston, Taylor, Buck and probably a couple of Denorfias that they are high on that we dont even have on our radar. That leaves 6 guys for 3 spots and doesnt include guys Im sure I have forgotten or never heard of.
At 3b:
Fox
Hanrahan
Chavez
who was the kid they had there last year?
At 1b:
Barton gets his seeming 20th chance to put up 2b men numbers
Carter
DH
Cust
Fox
I like Raj but the murky situation probably means a couple rounds less to draft his true value. Hanrahan is on some other team. I was using him as a catch-all for the-solution-at-third-after-Chavez-gets-injured-again. Last year Kennedy was playing third by the end of the year, I think.

OH OH the A's just traded two more outfielders to SanDiego for Kevin Kouzmanoff a 3rd baseman who only made 3 errors in over 300 balls hit at him last year.Sweeney and Scott Hairston are leaving.
What does all this mean's it mean's GET on the Rajai Davis bandwagon as he now moves up another 10 to 20 picks. Thats my boy and i believe.

It's Aaron Cunningham that is heading to SD.
Jake Fox is the guy losing out. Though the chance he played 3rd were pretty remote.

bjoak- i did not know you were familiar with the "inner workings" of the a's. your lecture on how teams value players was enlightening. i am happy that a's traded for kouz. now raj will play every day- i have drafted him just like eddie did. fox might play 1st. my questions are- since all of these teams do all this evaluating: don't some of them do it better than others ? are the a's doing better than others ? and last, and this is the one where you can really enlighten me on the "inner workings of a team" -what are the royals and mets doing? thanks

Hey Shawn - people are willing to pay the big bucks for the results to this draft on the street Im told. Gekko is floating some cash for that guy drafting out of the # 11 spot.
All it would take is $350 to enter. For me, it's pretty easy. I'm using the magaizne script! [/QUOTE]What ended up being the buy-in for this league....$350 or $325?
Please let me know as I included $350 for this league in my overall check payment.
Thanks,
Glenn
