Excuse me if this info is somewhere but I'm not seeing it. Is the Annual out at bookstores yet? If not, would it be quicker to order through Fanball? I had trouble with the first issue but surely that has been fixed.

Tim I believe the Fanball.com Annual, our second issue, is scheduled to hit newsstands on Jan. 19th. It's possible that it's hitting newsstands this weekend in some parts of the country, but I'd say it definitely should be on newsstands everywhere next week.

It's a great issue too. Mike Sheets and the guys did a great job with this issue. They are working on one more this month and then an NFL Draft issue. Wow.

Thanks Greg. I love the NFBC magazines more so than any of the others. I thought it was hitting the newsstands today but I didn't see it. Glad to hear it's coming out soon.

Just picked it up at B&N yesterday, and this magazine is one of the best I have seen (including football).

Colorful, informative, and the big difference from the first one is that you have no problem reading the print.

MAJOR upgrade over the first magazine, and it covers virtually every player possible.

Nice job, guys!

Nice job, guys! Thanks Billy. I hate to sound like a "Fanball homer" here because I write for the magazines, but I really do want to chime in here.

Unfortunately, our delivery of the first magazine to the 50+ NFBC owners who ordered it online got in the way of the content in that first issue. That first one was dedicated to the high-stakes market and to the NFBC in particular. It was our first attempt to really make our players the stars of the industry. We had articles written by past champions like Shawn Childs and Todd Zola, and top champions featured prominently with photos and historical data. We might have even gone overboard promoting the NFBC and our players in that issue, but I can tell you that right now we are getting plenty of new signups from that issue. It was a big hit and I look forward to doing the same thing with the NFFC in May.

Again, I felt so bad about the delivery problems that we really didn't promote our next magazines to the NFBC audience. Fanball is the only company creating fantasy baseball magazines more often than just once a year. Everyone else is doing fantasy baseball annuals and when they go to bed that's it. But Fanball has FOUR titles and each one has something different than the previous ones. To just buy one isn't getting the full content and I'm not saying that to create sales. I'm saying that from someone who has three of the finished products sitting at his desk for reference material.

Mike Sheets and his team have done a real nice job with new content for each issue. The second issue -- the Fanball Annual -- is better than the first one and much deeper. I like the first one because at the end of each position is a graph of the players with 2009 stats and it's so easy for me to compare players. The other issues don't have that, but they go much deeper in the player profiles.

The third issue -- Just Cheat Sheets -- has more mock drafts, more rankings by varied scoring formats, more opinions on rankings and more projected values. In fact, the Top 150 players have projected stats from three sources right next to them: Fanball's projected stats for 2010, Bill James' projections and Mastersball's projections. It's a solid, solid read.

Ten of the Fanball staffers also ranked their Top 60 players at each position and our rankings are formed into an ADP for each position along with each of our rankings. Agree or disagree, you have 10 times the opinions in that layout than any other magazine.

We're still working on the fourth Fanball title, an update of the Annual, but that will have more content and a team-by-team projected analysis that the others don't have. I'll have all four at my desk all year long, I know that, and you should too.

Again, we screwed up the home delivery originally but if you want the last three issues delivered to you there is a signup box on the Registration page. You can get the last three for $20. Or pick them up at the newsstands. I believe the Fanball Annual just hit on Jan. 19th, the Just Cheat Sheets should hit in early February and the updated Annual will appear in late February. All are great reads, and I'm not just tooting the company horn.

Sorry for the long promotion, but I'll post some of the content in a separate thread soon and then we can all have some fun debating the rankings. Look for that soon.

Thanks all and enjoy the mags if you get them.
