$1,300 Mixed League Auction In New York Is Now Full

Post by Tom Kessenich » Fri Feb 19, 2010 2:13 am

Let's keep the conversation going about the prize structure. I'm leaning toward:

1. $7,000

2. $3,000

3. $1,800

Those are nice round numbers. But we have a little time to figure this out so for those of you competing let us know what you'd like and we'll go from there.

Ha , Roy, yes you cleaned up on that one.

I didnt think the article was very obnoxious as it did not specifically rip Lindy in any way. Very good article.

The $1300 league is paying an extra $7500 in league fees. The extra prize money is $7500x75%=$5625 to the prize pool. New prize pool # is $11,925 (6300+5625). I like the prize breakdown of 1st- $7400 2nd- $3100 3rd- $1425.

Tom: your payout is paying 3rd place more than the $1300 league paid last year $1800 now, $1725 last year. plus you are shorting the prize pool by $125 with payout of $7000,$3000,$1800=$11800.

Thanks for breaking it down Roy. We can go with that prize structure if that works for everyone.

[/QUOTE]Let me finalize this with Tom on Monday and put the final touches on this. I'll post it here. I guess I need to have the final say on this one. ;) But I agree to giving a little more to first and keeping third no more than half of second.

Okay, how about this for a prize pool for this $1300 Mixed Auction League. Remember, you are still part of the NFBC Auction Championship and the potential for the $15,000 grand prize. But here are your league prizes:

1st: $7500

2nd: $3000

3rd: $1500
