Then served four year in the Navy at the end of the Vietnam War as a Hospital Corpsman. Got some great experience in the ER, X-ray, Pharmacy etc. Went to the University of Utah and spent 18 months in the Athletic training program and worked with both the football and baseball teams. Then I changed my major to business (its a long story). All of that experience provides me with just enough knowledge to help me sort through all the injury situations in baseball. Oh, and I play a Dr. over at Baseball HQ :)

[/QUOTE]Joe sorry I missed you. The back is better so Boston should not be a problem this year unless he get stuck in a blizzard.

Thanks for the great questions today.

We have tentatively scheduled a second Chat March 16 (just after the end of the First Pitch Forums).

Keep an eye out for the 2nd chat date in early March.

Rick

Here is hoping you don't have a draft where you select, Jose Reyes, Grady Sizemore, Brandon Webb and Conor Jackson in the first five rounds of Baseball Injury Report reader drafted last season!

.270-30-30 was good enough to put him 1.05 - 1.08 this time last year.

I did my share of floors in the Navy. Funny thing is I was ready to get out after my four years were up. The older I get the more it means that I stepped up when needed. Outside of being a Dad and a husband its what I am most proud of.

As I stated above, I learned just enough to be dangerous and there are a whole lot of people that know more than I do. Especially NFBC guys that beat me to a pulp the last couple of years.

Hey Chesty, Before you have a stroke! I was making a inside joke on the Navy. I served twenty years in the Navy. I also swab many floors but in the Navy we call them decks. Next time I'll e-mail you my post for your blessings. Geez!
