Special $950 Double Play Packages Available Now!

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Feb 19, 2010 12:39 pm

Okay, we heard you loud and clear and we are ready to move the needle on the Double Plays. Give Sack credit for this one because he convinced us this was the right move to make.

On the home page there are two special Double Play packages that are available to the first 50 people. Both are priced at $950 and both can be amended to any previous signup for the Double Play. Here they are:

** Sign up for THREE Online Double Plays for $950, a savings of $100 just like we had last year. Pick any three dates from March 14 to April 3 for $950. If you took this special before and still want the Matt Kemp autographed baseball from UDA, the special holds. If you want the $100 off instead, just email me at [email protected] and we'll make the change.

** Also, sign up for TWO Live Double Plays for $950 and we'll waive the Events Fee and the co-manager fee for both live drafts. That is a savings of $50, plus $100 in co-manager fees and $50 in Events Fees, a total of $200. This is good at any location.

If you have already signed up for one of these events and want to take advantage of our specials, please sign up online by clicking on the Special Packages link and pulling it down to either special item. Fill out your draft dates and then just email me at [email protected] to tell me which draft has been repeated. We will delete your single signup so that you don't have duplicates on your team page and then make sure the $950 charge is correct.

Only 50 Double Play packages are available. Sign up now to take advantage of either special offer. Thanks and good luck all.

And remember, for anyone who is already competing in the NFBC Main Event, there is a $75,000 cash bonus to anyone who wins the overall title in the main event and the overall title in the Double Play. Lindy Hinkelman beat all odds last year in accomplishing that amazing feat and the insurance is set for that again. Let's see if anyone can do it. Signing up for either the Online or Live Double Play allows you to qualify for the $75,000 cash bonus as long as you have a main event team.

We heard you. We've changed the pricing for folks who want to do multiple teams. And now it's up to you to sign up for these specials before they are gone. Help us sell out both Double Play events and good luck in the chance for that $60,000 grand prize online and the additional $25,000 grand prize for DP Live participants.

Great job guys, sure hope this will help everybody see you guys ARE working with us to make this affordable. Couldn't have asked for a better offer.

Knocking off $100 is solid incentive to play multiple teams.

Greg

Does this deal also apply to those of us who have already signed up for two Double Play's?

There are few who have two Live Plays outside of our 3-pack special (2 LDPs and 1 ODP). We're hoping that some folks who just have one Live Double Play with a co-manager will see that having a second team makes even more sense.

Hello Greg....I may be missing something, but I think the banner for this special reads wrong.

It states that the $950 is $100 off the regular price, then goes on to mention the additional savings for the eliminated events & co-manager fees.

Shouldn't it read $50 off of the original price?

I may be reading this wrong (I'm still on my first cup of coffee), but in case I'm not, you may want to correct this to save yourself some future headaches.

By the way....great offer. For those of us signed up with one live & one online team, can we upgrade the online team to a live one to take advantage of this special if we can make our schedules work?

Keep up the great work guys....

Glenn

It's $50 off the $1,000 price plus no Events Fee, so a total of $100 off. There's no co-manager fees, either, so it could be $200 off if you take two Live Double Plays and have a co-manager for each event. Hope this helps.

[/QUOTE]The banner ad reads "additional" savings for no events or co-manager fees. If I were new to the website, I would read this as being on top of the $100 savings. Not to be the website police, but it is misleading.

I understand what you mean so if you don't change it, it won't affect me personally at all. I do see this creating hassles for you from those who don't. Just an FYI....handle it as you see fit.

Still a solid special that I'm sure will sell out.

Bob:

Nice CATCH pal, starting to get close. Look forward to speaking with you out in Vegas. Maybe the farmer will tell us a few secrets on Saturday morning in our quest for the holy grail.
