NFBC Rookie Invitational Satellite League

First off, I want to thank all of you for signing up for this league. We are going to have a great season and I look forward to competing and talking fantasy baseball with you all. A few announcements about the league:

-I spoke with Tom Kessenich today and he should have our league set up sometime this week. Once it is set up, I will notify you all so you can officially register for the league. Once the link is active, all owners must register for the league to be activated.

-Today - I am also setting up a thread for the league in the League Forum section of the boards.

I would ask all owners to check in there so we can get familiar with all of our screen names and get us all together in one place and start the conversation. During the season I will post weekly updates/news about the league here.

- I posted this earlier - but will do it again for anybody who missed it: "As you all know the winner of this league will win the $1300 and the opportunity to cash that in for a Free Entry in next year's Main Event.

In addition to the regular payout structure, as the founder of this league I will be offering this "bonus" to "rookie" participants. If my team happens to win the league this year, I will take the highest ranking rookie with me next year to the Main Event in NYC as a co-owner. You will draft and co-manage the team for the season and share in any potential profits 50/50.

So NFBC rookies, you now have TWO chances to make it to next year's Main Event."

Ryan: Sorry I haven't had a chance to GET back to you via the telephone.

Hope to CATCH up soon. But, if we can make it work you'll have a ride to the Shandler Forum on March 6th.
