Since we're doing 'Favorite' songs, music, players, etc...

Why not favorite post-ers?

Mine is Chest Rockwell.

He can be witty, cruel, kind-hearted. Whatever the post, it is genuine. There is not much more you can ask from a poster.

Dough is solid and even takes recommendations:P

Gecko certainly brings the most discussion

Shawn is pretty forthcoming and helpful

But, it's gotta be Walla. He brings that cringability to each and every post. You know before you read it that it's going to be bad and caustic and mean spirited and yet, you are surprised each time as he outdoes himself!! It's either the greatest schtick on these boards or........

Thanks Dan- heading out for a swanky South Beach dinner where I will feel completely out of place for the next 2 hours.

Lots of great posters here, but funny the first 2 that posted here are probably my 2 favorites. Obviously you and Andy are the 2 closest of many friends I have made here.

Glenn is just bright! Always has an interesting take on things and I am looking forward to meeting him.

These boards are great. I can say that I like everyone here except 2. I will leave it to your imagination one hates bullies and the other probably does not love me, but I am glad God does.

Dan I will miss you in Vegas this year. Say hey to my pal Bill Strickler and my very first nfbc pals the Satinoffs. Both will give you a run in the Louiy. I was supposed to leave for St Louis from here, but bowed out. Stay away from those "bars" in East St Louis.

DOUGHBOYS posts can’t be missed. “Stuff”, “Junk”, & “Snips”

Sportsbettingman displays a little too much ‘Tinfoil hat’ philosophy, but still an interesting read.

GEKKO – the Howard Cosell of the boards. I myself am not a big fan, yet I read most of his posts.

[/QB]You sure? I heard this g-o-d doesn't take too kindly to those who who don't like her children.

Why the grudge pal? Is it b/c I pointed out yer uncanny resembalance to King Kong Bundy? I'm sorry. Really. I'd like to believe we can disagree w/out being disagreeable (Obama gets credit for saying that, I just appreciate the wisdom).

Anyway, I thought the point of this thread was to give a shout out to our FAVORITE "posters", not to revisit petty feuds from the past.

I don't know all these ppl (usually I remember the quote under their name), but the following have all been entertaining and/or/both informative.

DOUGHBOYS deserves special recognition b/c I love reading the different "stuff" under his name.

sportsbettingman/red sox nation/king of queens/less than dave/kj duke/spartacus/red ryder/walla walla/dirt dogs/madcow sez/schwks.....and of course the king, GEKKO! (I agree w/ the Howard Cosell analogy)

Shawn, RT & Eddie - I pay attention to their tips, fav players, etc...more than most.

Thanks for being the tie-breaker in my mind for Fred Lewis, Eddie!

Can't get'em all rt!
Always be closing.

Can't get'em all rt! [/QB][/QUOTE]Man did i ever whiff on Fred Lewis i was expecting a nice value pick going into last season.I was calling him a poor man's Shane Victorino. He was 28 going into last year coming off 81 runs and a 282 bavg with 21 steals. He even had a px of 109 which made me think 20 homers.

What happened 4 homers and 20 rbi's for the season.Lucky for myself many others liked him and i didnt get him in many leagues.

BUT those are the one's we remember.I did love Asdrubal Cabrera and landed him in 7 of my 12 leagues and was a great late round pick.OK i now feel better.

Like you, Kent, I used to have a lot more time to spend on these boards. Life has gotten very hectic, and what little free time I have is spent preparing for drafts and managing teams.

Thanks to the new blood (and some of the old) for keeping the fire burning!

For me, a 2 prong attack

Stephen Jupinka - a picture is WERTH a thousand words!

Shawn Childs: Very generous and honest. Never an agenda. Wish he could pick the ponies as well as he drafts a team, but I guess we can't have everything.

Entertaining and interesting...Uncle Dough and Gekko.

Informative and educational...CC Desperado's and ToddZ and Bjoak.

Temper tantrums/controversial/dramatic...Walla Walla and Bama (and Gekko) :D

Never fails to pique my interest...Quahogs, headhunters, Chesty, KOQ, KJ Duke.

I love all the different personalities, and read just about everyone's posts (other than league posts). Many of these great characters rarely post...(Big Eddie G, Red Ryder, Pig F-er Bob, all these Colorado guys...and the guys like Welcome to Stevieland, Latham, etc...too many to mention.
