Personal Apology!

Post by Navel Lint » Thu Mar 04, 2010 7:46 am

As a Cub season ticket holder I want to give my personally apology to Milton Bradley. It seems that my expectations for him during the 2009 season caused him to fail.

Taken from ESPN:

In an interview with The New York Times, Bradley -- who was dealt in the offseason to the Seattle Mariners for pitcher Carlos Silva -- pointed to his career record to show what happened in Chicago. "Two years ago, I played, and I was good," Bradley told The Times. "I go to Chicago, not good. I've been good my whole career. So, obviously, it was something with Chicago, not me."

"Just no communication," Bradley told the paper, referring to his Cubs tenure. "I never hit more than 22 homers in my career, and all of a sudden I get to Chicago and they expect me to hit 30. It doesn't make sense. History tells you I'm not going to hit that many. Just a lot of things that try to make me a player I'm not."

So…..Sorry Milton!

Everyone feel free to draft Bradley this year now that he is out from under my outlandish expectations. :D

And after the Gamester was so considerate to the fans in the right field bleachers...last summer he even tossed them a ball after he caught it to make the second out with men aboard...

navel- i really like the new owners. they really really really really care. they lowered payroll and raised prices. they seem nice- but i gotta watch what they do- not what they say. on the topic- what a jerk bradley is.

The only folks that have high expectations of Bradley are the GM's that sign him.

Only writers, scouts and GM's think of him as five-tooled.

Like a well-hung leper, even if he has the goods, he doesen't use it, and is wasted.

No picture, please, Q.
