Draft Orders for Sat drafts

When can we expect to see have these for next weeks sats. Not a big deal to me but for the newer people to get familiar with everthing they need to be done sooner rather than later for the ones that have filled.

We're working on this. I'm working with our programming people to get the email sent out which will announce the KDS deadline and then have the draft order set on the site. The leagues have been locked which is why people can't set their KDS but they should be unlocked today with a new KDS deadline established. Hang in there and we hope to have this all set up today.

It's great to see that the leagues that draft in a couple weeks have their KDS deadlines set, now what about us who draft in less than a week?

I guess since all this energy is being focused on the mock/live draft software that we won't see the draft orders for satellites until right before the draft.

I know that the Big $$$ leagues are the cash makers for NFBC but it seems like the satellites are getting less attention and energy from NFBC this year than previously.

That is not correct. We are working very hard to ensure the setup is perfect for the satellites. We don't want there to be any mistakes in terms of the automated KDS setup, the draft spot selection etc. I have been working with our programming people today to get an email sent out to everyone who is in a full league to announce the KDS deadline. The new system will enable the draft picks to be set immediately after that deadline. So if the KDS deadline for League A is 6 p.m. EST tomorrow night, the draft will be set up by 6:01 p.m. That's a very cool new feature and we're all very excited about it. But we want to make sure it's set perfectly so there are no mistakes.

If we're guilty of anything here, it's being extra cautious with everything we're unveiling to ensure there are no mistakes going forward. I apologize for any delay here but the plan is to have the full leagues for next week set up with draft orders this weekend. As of 4:44 CST today, I have not been told that plan will not come to fruition. If I hear anything different, I promise I will post an update.

Thats all fine but with drafts tue and wed for the people peeple that have not done drafts here before are not going to be comfortable getting their draft slots mon night for a tue draft. Ive been around for a while and wouldnt mind knowing mine before work next week before i get too busy to prepare.

I apologize if this has been made clear elsewhere, but are next week's satellites (the ones starting in 4 days) going to be held at MDC or at the new site? And the beginning of this thread indicated that KDS deadlines might be available yesterday ... since that didn't happen are we looking at later today or should we go into "watched pot never boils" mode and expect them more likely on Monday? Thanks ...

Mine been set , reset and reset again thur. When we going to get our slots. Done drug around and now dont have time to f with it. at least set up where the draft going to be so we can work on our draft list.

Sorry if I've missed this somewhere... where do we go to set our KDS? I'm logged in and go to "My teams" but I don't even see a link for my March 11th satellite league.

Hi Tom ... I think that is the problem ... we have NOT received notification as to when the KDS deadline is, so we have no way of knowing when the draft order will be set ... thanks!

Rich Click home and let it load. go to home again and on pull down menu click league home and it should load a page with your team

That's what I thought. There were some email issues going on yesterday so it would appear the email notification was never sent. If anyone in a full league next week still can't set their KDS please email me at [email protected] with their user names and password. Thanks.

I'm getting more confused as I read these posts...I'm supposed to draft next Sat. According to the Sat signup sheet, the league is full. My team says it is not assigned to a league, however. Should I be assigned to one by this point? If not, I'm assuming I'm not going to be getting any emails about KDS, draft position, etc...And it would be very helpful to know where the draft is. I don't want to spend a lot of time generating a draft list for a particular site and then never use it.

I appreciate the work folks are doing to get things running/improving the software, etc, but it's hard to figure out what's what when you have to hunt through these forums for little nuggets of information about what's going on...

This is my first year doing NFBC, and I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that everything will get worked out. Thanks.

If your league is now full, then you'll hear from us first thing this week with KDS deadline details, URL for the draft and more. You'll have several days to prepare for your draft spot on the assigned draft software. All will be explained very shortly. It's going to be a great week of satellite league drafts, so be ready.

I had the same problem, and I had to log out and then log back in to fix the problem. I have windows vista and it remembers me (keeps me logged in) every time I access the nfbc home page. Once I logged in again, I was assigned to my March 11th satellite and could set KDS.

I must say that this is the only fantasy baseball venue I have seen where the founders/organizers have this much contact with the customers, so I appreciate that!

I tried your suggestion, Richard, but it did not work for me. I am in a 13 March league. Perhaps in another day or two...I will stand by patiently and see what happens. Good day/night to all.
