Jon Lester was tagged for four runs in an inning by the Twins on Friday. Awfully wild in his spring debut, Lester gave up a single, two walks and then a two-run double to Justin Morneau to start the game. He was slated to throw two innings today, but his pitch count was too high after the first.

I know he cut down his walk rate last year, but prior to that he wakled way too many batters and shoot up his whip. i hope he isn't regressing this season. :(

He certainly didn't look good. Gotta move him down a few slots.

After today, I'd probably move him down to the 5th round.

and webb is gonna start on dl and reyes has major thyroid issue that the mets will say is " nothing". i can't believe a guy that hasn't pitched in 5 months is wild. and why isn't he throwing his best stuff- doesn't he know gecko is watching him? i crossed him off my list- he was pitching like it is spring training and he knows he has a job and knows he is good; so he is just getting his work in. he is off my list

Lincecum had a crapping first outing too Mark - should we bump him down a couple rounds as well?

You won't have to worry about him falling to the 5th Rd. Just leave him for me, I will take him in the 4th all day.
