I think Power is the huge issue with this team also....I don't think Hill repeats last year and other then that, how many "studs" do you really have on that offense? By studs, I mean guys you can usually rely on for good numbers. Should have went best power bat available for Rounds 2 and 4. Corner Infield positions are very poor IMO. Pitching is perhaps average or a little above. Nice pick on Sanchez, I think there is value in that selection. Other then that, not much I like about this team. Going to need a huge season from Hanley to compete.

Probably should have ditched one of your MI's and grabbed a CI.

Yes Hill was the crux of the draft but the option was Beckham so the coin flip at that point

For me...for you...for me...for you (yeah the wife has me watching Idol) the wrong turns were Hill at 4 and Abreu at 6. But I think that the staff looks very good. The two corners spots are going to be tough to fill, but if you do, there is enough of a base there.

Thanks for posting...these are the posts that are missing this year that I love....and from other responses so does everyone. Good luck for the year

Wonder what CI were there in rd 3??

Would like to see some speculation on saves instead of two lackluster no. 2 C's.

I also really like the Sanchez pick - and then young arms you grabbed.

You will need to tweak this team a bit as you go-good luck.

So you did not let your little girl draft Joba

I like this team more than most. On the surface it looks like a power shortage but there is a lot of pop in that middle infield. If I was looking to fix a spot on waivers in 2010 corner infield is the spot to do it in. You also have Swisher so you can fix that with another OF too.

Good luck in 2010.

Also Tejada will qualify and fill part of that void at CI 10 games in along with Swisher.

I like this team better than most. I think the pitching staff is well above average.

Your issue will be offense. Swisher is immediately on a corner. If I were you I'd be all over the wire for Corners, that will make or break your team. I agree that a corner instead of Hill would have been a nice pick. But Abreu at 6.14 there is nothing wrong with that.

With some wise free agent moves, you are a contender.

funny- i always see guys post that this or that is short. i say there is short and there is way short. this team is not way short. i have 25 homers from catcher (without clement) 70 from m.i. 50 from c.i and 115 from outfield/ utility. 260. swisher at utility. the team will have nice position flez with swisher, clement, tejada and maybe rodriguez. there are guys like clement and snyder that have power that could exceed what they are projected for and this area is his weakness! i agree i would be looking for a corner but those are somewhat easier to find with power than middle infielders. his pitching is real good. i am with chest. i like this team

Good luck in 2010. I also like this team a lot of value picks, hey getting Aaron almost in the 5th round is good value. He can easly move Tejada to 3rd base in a couple weeks and like everyone's mentioned Swisher to corner.Abreu 6 round pick 14 and Coglan in that late great picks.Sanchez in the 16th round was his best value pick and i like all the pitchers he took later in the draft,

Marcum

Masterson

Rzyski

Baiely

Also Snider in the 23rd round hell itook him before SWisher in my last draft.Yeah i like this team and if the waiver wire is done right a top team. ;)
