I'm in a $325 saellite that top three get main event entries. I'm in a few more leagues as well with the same goal. If I can't win my way in, it sure doesn't make much sense to play, as I must not be that good.
Don't be surprised (if the economy shows a pulse) to see me in the higher stakes leagues next year, (Super/Ultimate/Diamond type leagues) as those leagues make more sense to me than a main event. Lance, the main is basically a parlay bet ... if this is the season everything falls right for you you'll be unhappy with your single tickets when you could've cashed the monster parlay!

What it comes down to for me is that it squeezes two year's worth of fun into one season. So true and how much fun is this?
Two straight weekends of drafting live....tell me it gets any better.
Online strategy discussions with fellow drafters, message board trash talk with others, annoying E-mails to Greg & Tom with last minute questions about miniscule details....
All leading up to practically two straight weeks of drafting.
Starting Tuesday, I'll take part in over half a dozen live drafts....
over the course of two weekends....
at several high profile locations....
and sandwiched by online drafts a few days before and a few days after.
I feel like a kid in a candy store, having just been let out of school for winter break, knowing its just a few more days 'til Christmas....
And Santa's bringing a bicycle and that BB gun (no, I won't shoot my eye out).
Merry Christmas everyone & to all a Good Night.
