I'm just going to throw my two cents in here. I did an NFBC auction this past weekend and I am hooked. Great experience, great fun.
If I were available Sunday afternoon, I'd have grabbed this spot already. For those who haven't tried an auction yet, I recommend it.

We're happy to report this morning that we have filled the last spot in Sunday's New York Auction League at Citi Field. We now have 15 teams for this 1 pm Auction and will be ready to rock 'n roll. We finished with nine full leagues across the six cities and will close this competition out with 135 teams. 135 teams are now competing for the $15,000 grand prize. Congrats to everyone who helped make this a first year success.
