I think the pairing of Hanley Ramirez and a 14th round OFer looks better on paper than the Braun/Furcal combo.

Hitting aside, not really sure how that pitching is gonna hold up in a 12 teamer.

That team would be sheet in a 15 team league. 6 or 7 guys that havent been drafted in the 4 15 team leagues ive been in. Either i've been drafting with dummies or you've missed the boat with that team.

Nice job with the starting pitchers especially not taking any with your top 7 picks.

Garza 10.11

Oswalt 15.2

Lilly 18.11

Blanton 25.2

Great value on all these guys.

Hey there Paul,

I was in the draft with you yesterday & I thought you made some nice aggressive picks.

Good job & I'm sure we'll be battling all year.

It wouldn't be the first time I've missed the boat I admit I wasn't totally comfortable with my plan at many points during the draft last night. I found it hard to flip between the 12 and 15-teamers strategy-wise. It was hard to wait on pitching like I did but I just didn't see the value there.

Glenn Yeah Glenn, I knew I had to watch out for you last night when I saw your name So many great players in these leagues it's hard to feel like you can get an edge anywhere.

[/QUOTE]Ha! Thanks for the compliment Paul, but just remember....just because a guy posts a lot doesn't mean he knows what he's doing....this GlennX guy being the perfect case in point. ;)

There are also a hell of a lot of guys who don't make a post all season, but are silent killers.

As far as the 12-team vs. 15-team strategy shift, it's a bitch ain't it? I'm also playing a couple CDM leagues....hopefully I can keep my mind straight during the year.

Keep fighting all season....let's have some fun with this league.

Glenn

I think that the team looks very solid. I dont think that the pitching is a problem at all. If anything the Middle infield is a bit light, but ther ehas to be weakness somewhere

I think this is a solid team.
