Joakim Soria was pulled after retiring none of the five batters he faced Monday versus the Angels.

Soria entered a scoreless game in the third inning and surrendered (in order) doubles to Jeff Mathis and Brandon Wood, singles to Erick Aybar and Bobby Abreu and a walk to Torii Hunter.

anyone know who is 2nd in line to close if Soria goes down (like he did last year)?

I think anyone who gives up a double to Jeff Mathis might be hurt.

I think he was trying out a new underhand approach.. He also also trying to balance his beer in his glove.... I guess it didn't work out..
