Someone Please Explain Conditional Bids

Post by waiverwire » Thu Apr 01, 2010 4:42 am

I feel like an idiot posting this, but I've spent the last hour trying to figure it out. How do I make a conditional bid? If I place a bid on a player, then click on 'Add Conditional Bid', then click on 'Bid' for another player, it removes the player I put the first bid on from the list. What am I doing wrong?

there is no such thing as "idiot" for asking a ? I'm sure there are others out there this season who also have wanted to ask this ? and want direction on this isuue especially with all the new changes & such going on with the "new" NFBC. I'm sure Geoff has been very busy with everything going on & hasn't seen this post, but I know he would & will be very helpful in helping with this matter when he get's an extra minute.

Try clicking on save list, then click edit list - that should make bids conditional until you click save list again. However if you navigate away from the page or pull up a different position list without saving you will lose unsaved bids.

KJ is correct; you have to keep clicking save to save and then edit to do conditional; before saving just keep adding your conditional bids; however, if you want to go to another position, you have to click save then go to another position and click edit. Get it, I feel like the three stooges when they try to explain the alphabet...

Yeah - someone ended up giving me the same solution in another thread. Basically the key is saving after each conditional bid is added, because filtering, sorting, or moving to the next page all cause the previous pick to be lost if unsaved. Once you get to the page with the next player you want, then click Edit, and it works fine.
